
Preventive Dye Inspection:
Increased output of engine and turbochargers result in the speed-up of material failure. Preventive inspection is necessary to avoid sudden collapse of turbochargers. PDI can be used to detect invisible micro cracks on metallic article surface.
Articles will be cleaned and sprayed with coloured / fluorescent dye. After stay, excess dye is wiped / showered off. Then a film layer of developer is applied. This will draw the dye from any crack, making it much more visible.
All rotor shafts, blades, nozzle rings, crank shafts and bearing casings. Recommend use of PDI after 50000
running hours for articles or when necessary.
